BETTY JO'S DANCE CENTER DRESS CODE​

• Creative Movement:  Comfortable clothing and socks or ballet slippers (no shoes please).

​

• 3 & 4 yr. and K & 1st Ballet/Tap Classes: Any solid color of leotard or dance dress, footed tights, pink ballet and tan tap shoes and hair in a ponytail or bun.

​

• 2nd & 3rd Grade Ballet, Jazz and Tap: Black leotard, tights, pastel blue Bloch Georgette Mock Wrap skirt for ballet, black shorts for jazz/tap pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes, tan jazz shoes and hair in a bun.  2nd & 3rd Dress Code Store

• 4th grade & Up (Open and Platinum Divisions): Required one piece black leotard.  Ballet classes required a color coded skirt, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and hair in a bun.   Jazz, tap and lyrical are required to have black fitted shorts, tan jazz shoes, tan lyrical turners, tan tap shoes for Red/Green and black oxford style tap for Purple/Pink and hair in a ponytail or bun.  4 & Up Dress Code Store

  • Ballet Red – Red Bloch Mock Wrap Skirt

  • Jades Ballet --- Light Pink Bloch Mock or Regular Wrap Skirt

  • Ballet Green – Turquoise Bloch Wrap Skirt

  • Ballet Purple – Aubergine Bloch Wrap Skirt

  • Ballet Pink – Fuschia Natalie Dancewear Wrap Skirt

• Hip Hop: Comfortable clothes that you can move in and clean white sneakers that are not worn outside.

​

• Kick Team: Required black leotard, pink or tan tights, black jazz shorts, jazz shoes and hair in a bun.

• Jr. Elite Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary Co.:   Royal blue leotard with royal blue skirt of your choice and black shorts – Jr. Elite Dress Code Store

• Sr. Elite Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary Co.:   Navy blue leotard with navy blue skirt of your choice and navy shorts – Sr. Elite Dress Code Store

​Shoes, tights & leotards may be purchased from the Dance Center throughout the year.
